A bill registry is similar to a traditional online wedding registry, in which you sign up for the gifts you would like to receive for your wedding.  However, with, instead of gifts, you register your unpaid bills and have your friends and family make contributions to your debt as a gift to you.  One of the great things about is that it’s not limited to just weddings!  Any event (birthdays, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.) is a great opportunity to get rid of your debt once and for all and start living again.  As you receive gifts, request the bills that you would like us to pay for you and we’ll submit a payment on your behalf. 

> How does it work?

Step 2) Add bills you need paid to your newly created registry. 

Step 3) Use our free email registry tool to notify friends and family about your registry.

Step 4) Your guests visit your registry page and securely give a contribution to your debt using a credit card. 

Step 5) You can redeem your gifts at any time by logging in and selecting which bills you would like paid.  We take care of the rest.

> What type of bills can I add to my registry?

The goal of is to help you pay down your existing debt.  To fully maximize the benefits of our service we recommend adding bills that carry large balances that you are unable to pay off each month.  For example, a credit card or student loan carrying a balance of $2,500 works better than your monthly phone bill that you pay in full each month.  Remember, is not a replacement for your normal bill payment routine, we are simply here to help you chip away at those large principal balances that you just can’t seem to get rid of.

> How much does it cost?

For registrants:  Setting up an account and creating your registry is absolutely free!

For gift givers: does not charge sales tax or shipping costs.  We charge a small fee of 5.9% of the gift value to cover costs related to web hosting, credit card transaction fees, and postage/ACH fees for submitting bill payments on behalf of our customers.  The service fee is assessed when a gift is given to your registry account.  Our fees are not assessed above the amount that gift givers decide to pay.  Therefore if you place a bill on your registry that costs $100, it will cost your friends and family exactly $100 to purchase it for you.

> Who can create a registry?

Our service is available to customers eighteen years or older living within the United States.

> Who can give a gift?

Any U.S. resident with a valid Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

> Does the gift-giver have to pay sales tax?

No.  Because is a service that does not maintain a physical retail storefront, we do not charge sales tax.

> How do I notify people about my registry?

Notifying people about your registry couldn’t be easier.  By using our free email registry tool, you can quickly and easily send a link to friends and family.  After you create your registry, click on the “Send Registry to Friends & Family” link under the “My Registry” section.  Simply enter as many email addresses as you wish separated by a comma.  You can customize your own message or use our preset one.  We’ll even keep track of folks you’ve already notified so you won’t have to.

> How will I know when I receive a gift?

When you receive a gift, will notify you with an email.  You can also log in to your account at any time and quickly view the status of your account on the convenient ‘Account Summary’ page.

> Can I redeem the gifts that I receive for cash? does not allow for cash disbursements to be sent directly to the registrant.  We truly want you to benefit from using our service, which is why we pay the bills on your behalf.  If we just sent you the cash how on earth are you ever going to get rid of that debt, right?

> What happens to the money after I receive a gift?

After a gift giver's credit card is charged, the money is deposited into an FDIC insured bank account at Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank.  The money remains in the account until you choose to request a bill payment.

> How do I thank my gift-givers?

It’s easy to thank your friends and family with our handy thank you note tool.  Simply log in to your account and under the “My Received Gifts” menu, click on “Send Thank You Notes.”  Using the drop-down box, select the name of the person you would like to thank followed by the bill that they contributed towards.  Type your own custom message or feel free to use the preset one that we’ve created for you.  Once you’ve finished your message, click the “Send Thanks” button at the bottom.  If you’ve received multiple gifts, don’t worry, we’ll keep track of which gift-givers you’ve already thanked and which ones you haven’t.  Just click on the “Manage Gifts” link under the “My Received Gifts” menu to view a listing of all your gifts and thank you notes. 

> Once I’ve received a gift, how do I request a bill payment?

Getting your bills paid is simple.  Just log into your account and under the “My Received Gifts” menu, click “Pay Bills.”  Select the bill that you would like to pay using the drop-down menu.  Verify that all account information is correct, enter the amount to be paid and click “Pay Bills Now.”  In order for us to ensure that your bill payment is processed correctly and in a timely fashion, please make sure to verify all biller information (name, account number, address) before clicking “Pay Bills Now.” uses the information that you provide to us about your billers to make payments on your behalf.  We are not responsible for payments that do not arrive due to incorrect biller information. 

> How long does it take for a bill payment to process and be received by a vendor?

Once you submit the bills you would like to be paid it takes us 72 hours to process your payment and send to your requested vendor.  Upon the completion of the 72 hour processing period, it takes an additional 5-7 business days for your biller to receive payment.  Please allot at least 10 days from the start of your bill pay request until your vendor receives payment.  You should always plan on making your monthly minimum payments as scheduled. is not responsible for late charges assessed by your vendors for non-pay.  We are simply a service that helps pay down your existing debt and are not a replacement for your normal bill pay routine.

> What happens if a bill payment coincides with one that I’ve already submitted on my own? works best for those bills carrying large balances that you don’t pay in full each month.  That way if a bill payment through our site coincides with one you have already submitted on your own, it acts to pay down the principal even faster. 

> How do I close my account?

You may close your account at any time following the completion of any pending bill payment requests or bill payments already underway.  You will receive the remaining balance on your account (less the applicable service fee) in the form of a check.  To close your account please submit a request through the Contact Us page.  Please include "Close My Account' in the Subject line.

> Is it safe? does not share or sell any of your personal information.  Sensitive information is stored on secure servers.  Personal account information for bills that you register with us will never be shown to gift givers.  This includes account numbers and vendor names/addresses.  When a gift giver receives your registry, they will only see the type of bill that you have registered (i.e. Credit card, mortgage, etc.) and not specific information about a particular bill or vendor.  For more information please view our Privacy Policy. follows the strictest precautions to ensure your personal information is safe.  We utilize SSL encryption to safeguard your gift-giver’s credit card information.  We also maintain full PCI compliance and undergo regular vulnerability scans with ControlScan, an approved PCI Scanning Vendor.  The PCI DSS, a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security, was developed by the founding payment brands of the PCI Security Standards Council, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc.
